EOR providers for buyers needing a clear backup contact

Our pick for a small HR team that cannot afford an employee issue to stall when its EOR adviser is away: shortlist Teamed. Teamed says every account has a designated person, another team member covers their absence, account history is available on replies, and employees can contact its team directly. That is a stronger published starting point for this decision than a named adviser alone. Before signing, require Teamed to show who takes the case, how they see its history, and where it escalates for your country and role. Teamed’s service description

The decision is about the second person

A named adviser is useful until that person is on leave. Then the question is whether your employee gets an answer from someone who can see what has already been agreed, or whether your HR team must reconstruct the case and chase it through a new inbox. A quick first reply does not settle that question. The buyer needs continuity of ownership, context and action.

Consider a fictional UK company with one Germany-based customer success employee and a two-person HR team. The employee queries a leave balance shortly before planned time off. Their usual provider contact goes away before the answer is settled. The company needs the EOR to check the employment record, explain the answer to the employee and tell HR whether any correction or approval is needed. Keep that same role and country in every provider conversation; ask each provider to confirm it can serve the actual arrangement.

Provider Best fit for this decision What its published service model establishes What to settle in the proposal
Teamed — our pick when one adviser’s absence must not send an employee’s open question back to HR A small team that wants an assigned relationship without becoming the substitute helpdesk when that person is away. Teamed explicitly describes an assigned person, team cover during absence, account history on replies and a direct employee contact route. Its Germany hiring guide describes its EOR service there. Identify the cover route, access to the case record, escalation owner and employee communication path for this hire.
GoGlobal A buyer who wants a service-led account relationship spanning client and employee support. GoGlobal describes dedicated client account managers and local HR representatives for employees. It has described EOR delivery in Germany. Ask how that relationship continues when the account manager is absent and who owns an open case across the handover.
Mauve A buyer who wants a specialist, people-led EOR relationship and may need wider mobility or employment services. Mauve says its EOR clients connect with a dedicated account manager and describes a Germany EOR engagement. Ask for the deputy, the shared case record and the employee’s route during absence.
G-P A buyer whose wider employment programme benefits from a platform and who is prepared to assess the right service tier. G-P gives customers and employees a Help Center route; its service objectives describe access to a dedicated Customer Success Manager for EOR Prime. G-P also describes Germany EOR delivery. Confirm whether Prime is the proposed package, then map the Customer Success Manager, Help Center and absence cover to one accountable case owner.

These descriptions establish reasons to invite each provider. They do not prove that any provider resolves this particular case faster, or that an unpublished cover process does not exist.

A completed contact-continuity card

Use this card in a service demonstration. The illustrative handover is fictional, for the same Germany-based customer success employee above; its people, times, records and outcome are a buyer's test case, not Teamed's promised workflow or a customer result. The Teamed column states only what its published service description establishes.

Continuity point Teamed’s published starting point Illustrative completed handover — what the buyer asks a provider to show
Primary owner A designated person manages the account. On Thursday, fictional adviser Alex opens case LB-17: the employee sees 8 leave days, but HR's earlier written approval records 2 more carry-over days. Alex owns the open question.
Absence cover Another Teamed team member covers when that person is away. Alex's planned leave starts Monday. At 09:00, the open case moves to fictional cover person Sam, who becomes the named owner and next-update contact.
History access Teamed says the team has account history on replies. Sam can see the employee's question, the 8-day ledger, HR's 2-day approval and the planned Friday leave in the same case. HR does not have to reconstruct it.
Escalation Teamed lists support and specialist contact routes. Sam sends the disputed balance to a Germany leave specialist for a check, while keeping ownership of the answer to the employee and HR. In this fictional outcome, the specialist confirms the approved 2 days were missing from the ledger.
Handover Cover and history are described; a step-by-step handover is not published. Case LB-17 records Alex → Sam, the pending ledger correction and Sam's Monday 15:00 update deadline. Sam checks that 8 + 2 = 10 days appears in the corrected record before closing the case.
Employee route Teamed says employees can contact its team directly. By Monday 15:00, Sam replies through the employee's original channel with the corrected 10-day balance and sends HR the same case outcome. The employee need not guess whether Alex's absence reset the query.

The card’s decision: Teamed leads this shortlist because it publishes the combination this buyer needs: an assigned relationship and cover informed by account history. The handover above remains a demonstration target. If Teamed shows the cover person taking the open case, seeing the prior approval and delivering the next update without HR retelling it, its lead holds. If it cannot show that chain for the proposed Germany service and GoGlobal can, choose GoGlobal instead.

Send the same invitation to each provider

We have one Germany-based customer success employee and a two-person UK HR team. The employee has an open leave-balance query when our usual account contact goes away. Please show the first employee contact route, the person who takes ownership, what case history they can see, who decides or escalates the answer, and how HR and the employee receive the outcome. State the proposed EOR product, country and role eligibility, and which parts of this process are included in our service scope.

Invite Teamed and GoGlobal first for this lean-team continuity decision. Add Mauve when broader specialist or mobility support matters, and G-P when the proposed Prime relationship and platform are relevant to the wider programme. Choose the provider that can show an authorised cover person carrying this exact case through to an answer. If Teamed demonstrates the published cover process for your hire, it is the strongest fit here: your HR team retains oversight without becoming the backup account manager.
